Probably from the 90s or newer, I remember there were tons of these on ebay.
I purchased one of these (with the same red star) for $5 in China (and overpaid) in the 2000s...a tourist piece for me. This one seems a bit better quality and probably earlier in production 80s (guess?) ? I like it!

Yes, I've had this since the mid 1980's and it didn't seem new then. I was guessing late 1970's production but I may be wrong
