    A WWII era cap, named inside to Maj., later Lt.Col. Gwyn Morgan-Jones, The Life Guards. Took me a long time to acquire a Household Cavalry officer's cap from this period.
    The side buttons and peak braid are unique to this regiment.

    Beautiful cap indeed and quite scarce. I have only ever seen 1 other example.
