The Lorne Scots Tam O' Shanter
I just picked up this fantastic Tam O' Shanter attributed to The Lorne Scots of Canada. This is way out of my collecting area but I find it hard to resist interesting cloth headgear be it Allies or Axis. The battle honors for the Lorne Scots are impressive; War of 1812, WWI, WWII, Afghanistan. The date on the cap is hard to read but I'm almost certain it's dated 1951. I was able to find a few WWII era images and they are very similar, minus the plume. It's a nice post war addition to the collection.
Regards, Al
