Beret and the pins are post war, and probably fairly recent.
The RAF badge is in a modern 'STA-BRITE' form.
29 Squadron had it's beginnings in 1915 with many disbandings and reformations
along the way......
Flying DH2's and Neuport Scouts in WWI, Bristol Beaufighters and DeHavilland
Mosquitoes for night fighting during WWII, Phantoms and Tornado's during
Desert Storm, and as of 2005, currently flying 'Typhoon' aircraft.
