royal artillery side cap not sure of era

hi all,

i wondered if anyone could tell me what era this royal artillery side cap is from please.
My friend thinks its ww2 but i am not so sure hense the cap badge inside the sidecap.
Any help would be great.

Yes, from 1937 onward until 1953 as it has kings crown badge, probably same on the buttons but can't see them clearly.

The badge retaining clip is the wwii pattern
