SAS Beret

Looking for a bit of help. Can someone tell me if this Beret is private purchase or Regiment issue. It belonged to an SAS member but i'm more inclined to think private purchase. Also, what year roughly would this be ? Any help would be great.

Ammo UK were private purchase suppliers if choice for the paras, don't know about the sas or it's date

Jerry, looks like that 80's beret is sold, good price to I think, bargain for someone there.
