I just pick up this visor cap, brtish made dated 1943
there is a name inside : Henry Richard Hirsch and his laundry D568630

I just find a hit to Colonel Henry Richard " Hank " Hirsch , birth 1 may 1921 - death 1 may 2007 , ww2 / korean war / vietnam war

is someone can help me to have more informations about him

What a great find Very interesting to find a U.S. officer visor made in the U.K. & named as well! I particularly like the british War department "crows foot" on the sweat band (presumably the hat maker used the same sweat band in his british offerings) i wish you luck in your quest for more details of Richard Hirsch's military career.
