Want to start collecting US visor caps etc.

Are there any good books for these enlisted type visor caps?having trouble working out Army and Airforce,enlisted or nco and so on,thanks in advance.

I've always had good luck with Google Images, often coming across Pictorial Charts along with a multitude of examples...

If you are interested in the post WWI to Korean War period, I suggest the book "Visor Hats of the United States Armed Forces 1930-1950", by Joe Tonelli. It's a typical large format, Schiffer Publishing book, full of many excellent color photos of visor caps, officer & enlisted.
It's priced at $58.09 on Amazon.

I think Michael Ryan has a nice collection of these visors (mostly Air Force if I remember). You might want to PM him and see if he has any ideas on reference books.
