Hello
What are your thoughts on this pocket knife?
No markings anywhere except for what is on the spike.
Military or Civilian?
Thank you
Tony

I would suggest that it is an Indian made General Service pocket knife, the date may be very lightly stamped,Look around the base of the can opener. The grips look handcut to me.
It is indeed an Indian-made jackknife, as indicated by the hand-carved checkering on the grips and the copper lanyard ring. The markings, if there are any, will be on the can opener attachment, as mentioned above. There is no way to know if this knife was used by a paratrooper. They were issued as a standard piece of kit to all British troops.
Here's my own example.
