A "56" might be a bit small for a SAS head...

Well 6. 3/4 is actually a 54 so even smaller. In fact I believe it to be the smallest standard size. However that is not a factor that affects authenticity and this one looks OK to me. The size is what the British Army have referred to as "Peanut head" but there are solidiers with heads that small because there are people with heads that small. Just not very many!
