    His name was Ralph Price and I do have some photos of him and the crew. I also have some of their records. I know the crew arrived in England in Feb 44 and their first mission was on March 2nd to Frankfort. Their first plane was called the Bucket of Bolts, but it got all shot up and they received Stage Door Canteen somewhere between April 8 and April 20, that's when they had the christening. They finished their tour around June 15th. As far as the name Lacy you have on the jacket, I can't match it with any of his crew. The jacket may have come from one of the crews who took over afterward.

    This site is wonderful for making connections from the past. You can't beat what 381stdigger got to find out. !!!!!
    Because of this site I was also contacted by a fellow crew members family of the B17 My Uncle Joe flew on and also a Gent in Germany where my Uncle's plane crashed after it was shot down. He sent me pic's from the German newspapers of the wreckage.
    This site is Awesome!!!!!!
