These boots are soft and pliable, feels like they just came from the manufacturer.

    Default Help with my boots

    Hi everyone!

New here, just saying hello and also wondered if anyone could help me out? Recently found a pair of Australian WW2 Boots stamped " V589, 654, 1944". Can anyone tell me what I can expect to get for these on eBay? and if I'd increase their value by taking them to the cobblers or I'm better of leaving them as is? Thanks

I would probably leave them as is. A cobblers help would improve their value but also cost you. I would be tempted to get some colour back into the leather with the correct shade of polish. Just my opinion.

Hi Ubique, thanks for your response I think I'll take your advice and polish them, but how much do you think I could get for them? Thanks
