Never had a UK pair, I'm not sure.. but aren't the tags on the outer waist like the BD & Denim trousers?

I'm sure any outer tags could be removed and these passed off as gen on ebay with little effort. Not sure if there would be a profit in it though.

Article about: Could I please have some opinions on these KD shorts? I have three pairs,all different. All three are different to my two wartime pairs! Does anyone know the dates? I know one pair are '50's
