Cheers Mate this one is very light weight and easy to stash into the universal pouch or small pack
Very much a pull over camo smock rather than a winter uniform. Great to see it René.

I only have the British heavyweight version and the US version. I believe that the British lightweight smock was issued to US troops in some numbers during the winter of 44/45 as they didn’t have sufficient smocks of their own.
I have a smock and trousers.
The B&W images are from 14th January 1945 and show Airlanding Brigade on Recce patrol in the Ardennes from Gavin Birches Book 'The Wartime Jeep in British Service'.
