Article about: Hi here is my airtex tropical issue shirt and shorts dated 1942 i got them last week think the red is for armoured corp? not sure 100%

    Thats a nice uniform, looks in good condition as well. I think red was for artillery.

    Or perhaps the orange ribbon worn by South African troops ? But if you say it's red, don't even try to remember what I've written ! ;-)

    Now, does anyone know if collar badges were worn on officers' bush jackets ? Does it depend on the collar design ? Thanks in advance for your replies !

    On the bush jacket proper, collar dogs were not worn.

    But they were worn on the lightweigh khaki drill version of the Service Dress uniform.
