All i can say is WOW!!! your great grandfather was a very lucky and accomplished solder. Forgive me, but this would hold a very special place in my collection.

Thanks MAP and Eagle, my whole family is very proud of his service and his uniform is by far my most treasured item.
And yes RH1941, I have all of his original paperwork from the letters he sent home to his parents through his Silver Star citation and his Honorable discharge papers, he never got rid of a single item related to his service
