Article about: Hello Gent's, I have been looking for a belt for a jacket I had. Trying to match colors of 75 year old clothing is getting harder Well I found this belt and it looked like it had a brass buc

    It could be a plastic like material called ethocel which is derived from a plant base. I know that those rare orange plastic wwii US canteens were made from it

    could well be, british buttons from the denim uniforms are made from this too

    Thats true! I know i have an 8th airforce uniform somewhere that has the brit buttons. They didn’t stand up too well to time though
