Another WW2 Army Air Corps Wings?
Hello To All
I was told by one of my buddies that post pin/clutch type wings are post war. Is this true?
I am trying to put together a set of WW2 AAC wings to tribute my Uncles service and the Crew that he was shot down with. He was a B17 Tailgunner and I have one of those coming.
So now I am looking at Pilot ,Navigator, bombardier wings and want to get the right type for the shadow Box I am puttung together. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Another WW2 Army Air Corps Wings?
As far as I know all wings that are clutch back are post war, like your friend said. Id wait for a few more comments just to confirm.

Re: Another WW2 Army Air Corps Wings?
Hello cluth back does not mean postwar, there are new old stock of airborne wings for ww2 that are clutch back, also many of the ww2 sterling combat infantys are clutch back. Clutch back does not mean postwar ww2
