    Hello,

    The photo should be in the 20ies so it is always hard to tell as many badges weren't yet officals.

    That said the 2d Engeneer regiment was in charge of the electrical station of the "ligne Maginot" so it could very well be.
    Another element could be transmission that were manageegd by the "Genie" before beeing a separated coprs.
    But the first option might be the best as it also fits with a similar badge from the navy.

    Collars shoule be Black with two red stipe on top.
    Number in gold for a warrant officer
