Hey Joel....this is completely out of my area....but what a cool document. The bird in the red stamp looks like the Prussian eagle found on some early TR and Weimar belt buckles! Cool!

Thaks for your reply. Unfortunately, Rick on the GMIC Forum doesn't have any info on anything less than Divisional Level award docs...Maybe one of our fine members in here can find some additional info...

Nice doc for a Mortar Btl guy... I used to collect WW1 Iron Cross documents. Often they're produced by the unit and have great decorative detail. I still have several. One if for the Alpenkorps - large format. I should post it.
