Those men and women who were injured protecting our country and those abroad ....I would consider the Purple Heart the same as a Medal Of Honor.
The Purple Heart is a Medal Of Honor and I have nothing but HUGE RESPECT for those who recieved these Medals while serving their country ,standing in the face of danger and death. Thankyou to all those who served who were injured and Thankyou to all those who served in the past and present

He had long time service in the NY state and later when it was federalized. One of his sons served in the Pacific in the Marine Corps.
