Both look earlier 1st award types to me, slot brooch on the Victory medal is late war type ,crimp brooch came out late war time & is what is seen now on modern U.S. awards. Later issues of these medals have a dark laquer applied to make the detail stand out. Hope this helps,Merry Christmas, Regards Paul

No issues with either of these medals being WW2 era. The only slight concern is the spot on the WW2 Victory Medal and the two helmets on the Asiatic Pacific Medal. Not sure if this is corrosion or not but if you purchase these you may want to ensure that the spots don't expand anymore..

As Paul has noted the brooch styles are both early war and late war. The medals themselves mostly were issued post war (late 1945/46) as the WW2 Victory medal was manufactured after the hostilities and many of the medals that Soldiers received (service medals) were issued post WW2 due to the shortage of precious metals used to make armaments and other war supplies. Soldiers were issued the accompanying ribbon first and when metal was not needed to make tanks, guns, and other war items the medals were produced and issued. Many Soldiers were discharged before they received their medals so the vast majority of the medals were mailed to the Soldiers at home.
