Nice pics, not seen those before. Lez says thanks too.
We will scan some pics. But give us some time as life is very busy at the moment.
Cheers, Ade & Lez.

Pretty and young MTC do exist not just in movies
She could be married then, a Mrs Saunders 1941
While looking at original WW2 pictures of MTC it suddenly dawned on me that MTC buttons are originally light brown patinated like that of the FANY but and are not bright like they do for ATS.
I inspected some MTC buttons which I thought has age patination but underneath the buttons the seperate construction with the "Gaunt" maker name are lustrous shine and mint looking
I remember Jennifer Brennan who does MTC polishes her tunic buttons.
Out of the 3 tunics we have, all have MTC buttons. Two appear to have had the bronzing polished off (presumable by the original owners, not us), while the third still retains the bronzing. The two tunics with polished buttons were first cleaned when they came into the collection in order to remove any tarnishing that could transfer to the material. Other than that the buttons have not been polished by us.

This little press cutting I discovered today at work in a box and makes interesting reading.
Cheers, Ade.
