Hi Gary.
I can't help with authenticity, but the scorpion badge and patch are the emblem of the Long Range Patrol & Long Range Desert Group. The Long Range Patrol was one of the first special forces formed in WW II

Kind regards,

Thanks Will
The badge with the three bombs is an Italian bombardier badge if I'm looking it up correctly
No worries Gary.
I would say you are right about the Italian badge.
I did a little more digging and found some info.
The top insignia is for the 7th Armoured Brigade (Desert Rats).

The camel patch looks like the insignia for British GHQ middle east.

The kangaroo and boomerang insignia is for the 6th Australian Infantry Division.

Kind regards,

Thanks again Will
rely interesting patches. thanks for the post.
I think all the british badges are iffy, the metal lrdg scopion badge is a fake/copy, as is the cloth version imo, and I don't like the printed patches because they are also copies, certainly not wartime issues. I am not sure any of the aussie patches were ever issued in WWII.

Jerry
Whatever its just an opinion.
