    Default Another patch

The designation of this patch changed several times. In 1943-45 it was HQ Allied Land Forces Schools, then HQ Australian Military Forces Schools (1945-46), and lastly Army HQ Schools (1946-49).

Unfortunately it's not the right way up! The green segment should be at the top.

    Default Patches

These patches are for Camp Hospitals, South Australia L of C Area, 1942-45.

They are attributed to Captain Arthur Charles Savage (SX28616), AAMC, whose final posting was 32 Camp Hospital (Woodside).

    Hi all,

I've only recently joined the forum, so please forgive the timing of this post.

I picked up this tin (top of pic) of badges, and other bits, up a while ago as they all came from the one digger -

QX3009 L/Cpl Desmond George ROBINSON, of HQ 18th Bde, 2/AIF (one of the first three brigades raised). Robinson came from Maryborough, Queensland, he enlisted into the 2/AIF on 22 Oct 39 and served in the UK (Scotland and England), Middle East (Giarabub and Tubruk), New Guinea (Milne Bay and Ramu Valley) and Borneo (Balikpapan). He was finally discharged at Brisbane on 27 Nov 45.

    Cheers,
    Dan
