sword of honour
hi all i am looking for help. My great great uncle served in the Dutch army. in the picture he is holding what is called the sword of honour. i have tried to research this but information is in Dutch. He passed away in Belgium after ww2. i have always wondered if he buried his medals and sword during the war and what ever happened to it. the only information i have is he never married and none of his belongings came to Canada.
Is there anyone out there that can help?
