I was told that S21 wings that are early vietnam before 67 are silver soldered clutches and the later ones up through the 80s are electrostatically welded. However, I have never seen the two types compared I don't know what electrostatic welded clutch posts look like. But I have a pair of S21 wings and they do not have those lines running around the clutch and I am thinking maybe that is what an electro weld looks like. Mine are also a solid back with the S21 in the center so I assume earlier but thst is just a guess.
