Well I know it isn't a military flag but it's from the ww2 era

I'm not sure, there is a tag saying it was brought back from the war. I have a french resistance flag and it's made from the same material

On a French site, they say it's for after the review board, when the man is OK(reçu) to be one soldier.

That is interesting, I never seen a flag like that, it's from ww2 Era. Do you know much about french resistance flags? I have one found in a barn in Normandy
