Coventry made british Jerry Can

Article about: I remember this appearing on ebay a couple of years ago and have since bought it from that purchaser It is acording to what is painted on it the 5 milionth can made. I see from the internet

    Just acquired this, and as so often, the 'search' function here has saved me a lot of research time ! Very interesting stuff about the manufacturer.

    Nothing 'special' about this, but I wanted a decent British Jerrycan. This will ultimately be for part of a museum exhibit and I wanted it to be 1944-dated, so this fitted the bill rather nicely. A quick once-over with a brass wire brush and a wipe with WD40 (rather appropriate !) and here it is......
