    That is also the complete title of this book, Canadian Soldier From D-Day to VE- Day.
    So I’d imagine many similar entries regarding equipment etc.

    Hi,
    Those "Brace attachments" are called "Aiguillettes" if you speak French. Just in case you're looking for those on french sites.
