The type of boots shown in the original post have been floating around on an auction site for some time now being advertised as " late pattern F2 boots " "AAF felt boots " etc etc etc . I have scoured all known sources regarding these , and im fairly confident 99.9% these are not AAF . As far as im aware , to this date , and while working on my book , nearly everything the AAF procured had some kind of nomenclature attached ,labelled , stenciled on it .
