Article about: Hi, All, Recently I bought a pair of RAAF Mk IIIa goggles (01.jpg) from Australia. Initially I thought they were just a sun bleached, badly repaired and painted pair. But now I have them in

    Its a Australian Mk IIIa variant like yours. Yes wartime. A rare pre to early war variant.

    Thanks Wizardman. Were they ever used in Europe or just local use in Australia?

    Probably just Australia, but its only a guess based on most gear including Uniforms were made in the UK for Australian Aircrews stationed there.
