Hi I really want one of these especially as it mentions his issued sidearm. I’m looking to use for a grouping with a TT-33 pistol. How much is one of these worth and is there a reputable source to purchase one from as Its a bit of a minefield and I understand there are a lot of fakes about.

Hardcover Identification Book, #16543, of Guards Colonel Nikolai Erastovich Timashov, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Transbaikal Military District. He was promoted to Colonel March 15th, 1939.

He entered duty position as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Transbaikal Military District October 10th, 1941. Awards listed Victory over Japan, Order of the Red Banner (long-service), Order of Lenin (long service), 20th Anniversary of the Red Army, and another Order of the Red Banner for actions against Japan. His date of birth is listed, December 31st, 1897 as well as the names of his wife, Galina Nikolaevna Orlovskaya, and the names and birth years of his children, Igor (1931), Irina (1937), & Vera (1944). His Tokarev (TT) pistol serial #2980 is listed.

Hard covered pre-war certificate/diploma, #74, dated September 15th, 1940 from the NKVD Leningrad Political School issued to Prokofiy Vlasovich Nepomnyashchiy granting him the rank of Junior Politruk (Political Officer) with listing of scores of various courses.
