Interestingly dark photo of a killed enemy similar to the many I’ve seen commonly taken by Germans during the early years of the war. The inscription is vengeful and definitely makes this photo more unique. If this German really did kill a good friend of the photographer before he was also killed would be quite the story.

Looks like a smock with matching trousers perhaps. Doesn’t look camouflage though. IMO. The white strip around his neck and shoulder looks like a loose bandage wrapping or something? Very interesting
