    Winston Churchill with delegates at the Paris Peace Conference, June 1919. He was not involved in the peace process itself However, as Secretary of State for Air and War he took part in discussions about what the world should look like after the war.

    Many thanks for your posts showing Churchill, in the last photo front left his time was yet to come also Bernard Montgomery.

    Hello,

    Very interesting. I was so focused on Churchill, I didn't even notice him in that photo. Thanks for pointing that out.
    From what I have read, he was a lieutenant-colonel serving as chief of staff of the 47th (2nd London) Division at the time and was relatively unknown.
