Very possible. Unfortunately there’s no date on the photo itself but by the looks of it , it would have been either during or not too long after the war ended. Probably won’t ever know unfortunately.

Looks like a Navy Seabee to me...I recall seeing a set of pictures on eBay recently including photos very similar to this one...

Is there any way to tell 100%? Because someone elsewhere said they think it’s Korean War.

Possibly Korea...from the 40s-50s is all I can deduce, unfortunately...
