WW2 Era Servicemen’s life Insurance Letters
This envelope consists of multiple different life insurance Documents. They belonged to an Allen E. Scott. He was stationed at Pearl Harbor. There are three separate documents all insured for $1,000 to his wife. Interestingly, these were dated March of 1942, just a few short months after the attack on Pearl Harbor. I’m unsure if Allen was there at the time of the attack. But based on the documents, since war had recently begun, he wanted to make sure his wife was taken care of if he were to be killed.
