    I love the frames on these original period photographs,they really bring home that spirit of the 40's 50's.Wonderful items.

    Visor: The left-hand photo has particular interest for me because the 65th Division was the unit that took Regensburg near the war's end and captured my uncle Willie, who was an Oberstleutnant at Regensburg. The 65th Division patch indicates that the photo was taken sometime after 16 August 1943, when the division was activated, and probably before 10 January 1945 when the unit went overseas.
    The guy in the right-hand photo is wearing the shoulder patch of the Army Service Forces, which was basically a super logistics organization. Good photos. Dwight
