1907 pattern Quillon bayonet?

Article about: Hi guys, I saw this for sale. Is it a 1907 with Quillon? How much do they usually go for? Thanks! Quinn

    aussie hooked quillon bayonets are rare and expensive and often faked, the last original lithgow bayonet i saw went for well over $1000 AU dollars

    Very nice bayo they go for good money here in england and are hard to get hold of, best of luck with it, i would love to get one.

    Rob,

    In uk worn 1907 hook quillon's with scabbard are upwaards of £250. In pristine condition in excess of £450. Scabbards can be found relatively easily. In UK the 1907 Quillon are very desireable If you can get more pictures and confirm a pre 1913 date it would be worth a strong bid. As Rob has already said the absence of the oil hole in the pommel is a good sign. I'll post pics of my two later today.

    Excellent Bayonets Mark! And thanks Dave. Unfortunately, I didn't buy the bayonet. i asked the seller for more pics, but I never received a reply.... too bad, I'll wait till next time.

    That's a shame, although the lack of a reply is a bit suspicious, so maybe it wasn't right anyway.
