Try to get one. Because laws are getting stricter.
And it is quiet time consuming to get one.

Thanks guys for the info!Weller the sword in your link does indeed look like the knights head sword I posted. The handle does look like ivory.I havent cleaned these but they may clean up better.
Some very nice looking swords you gents have there. I would think value would be substantial but afraid my knowledge is nil on swords. Hard to believe some are so old and in fine condition. Thanks for showing.
Thanks mauser!,those are beautiful swords chopperman posted. The leather on the scabbard of this knights head sword is near perfect, thats usually the first thing to go,as the leather seems to break down and dry rot over time.
I believe the price reflects the non-military character of these swords.
Also the decline of religious and fraternal Orders such as these.
There where many produced over many years and are not really collected today.
Thanks guys!I hear ya CBH and chopper, but I think the ivory grip makes it worth a little more, you dont see those that often,I know I wouldnt take 100.00 for this one even though I only paid 5.00 for it!A friend has an old Mason sword with skulls motif on blade, very cool, pretty close to early SS skulls. Will post a pic if he dosent mind.
