Early USN Mark 2

Hello Everyone - I would appreciate your help in verifying that this is an early Camillus USN Mark 2 and appropriate scabbard. It looks good to me, but as with most things I am no expert!

Looks like a good Mark 2 (Officially the 1219C2), but most always called a Mark 2 or Ka-Bar. The scabbard is from the 1943 contract for 523,000 scabbards. The next contract of scabbards in June of 44. The change to guard marked was some time during 44 but I cannot remember the month or contract.
