Markings on Pattern 1907 Bayonet
Article about: Hello, i've had this P07 Bayo for about a year and i'm just wondering what these markings indicate. From my knowledge the "X" indicate that it's been bent tested. And i'm guessing

The MA stamp definitely makes it look like it was manufactured in Australia by Lithgow (the Australian Small Arms Factory, Lithgow)
I think the OA stands for Orange arsenal

Above the OA Mark is the ‘Broad Arrow’ stamp (to mark government property)
On the MA stamped side, I’m not 100% sure but the date on the right looks like 42 (1942)

"12" "42" means manufactured December 1942.
