Trying to get some quick help for an out of my area item I just got some photos from a gentleman of a bayonet I am unfamiliar with. Although I have see this style of bayonet I have not seen this type of scabbard it appears to be made of wood with a stitched leather or fabric cover?? Any Help or opinions welcome,

After some digging I believe it is a British M 1876 with Broad arrow over WD, Crown Stamp over partial stamp E or F and on the socket crook serial possible/partial(3) 11186.1
Any thoughts or info I know they were used by other countries as well

Definitely British with those marks, I believe the War Dept marks are late Victorian, so your probably on to it. The "F" may be Fazakerley.
