SA 1906 Bayonet & USN MK 1 Scabbard

Article about: I have the opportunity to buy a SA 1906, US 46477 bayonet with a USN MK1 scabbard. The bayonet comes with wooden grips. I bleieve the bayonet is form WWI but I think the scabbard is form WWI

    I dated a girl from Bethel hehe small world! They really did knock that blade around, it didn't look so rough in the first set of pics. True, we won't look as good at 110, find a nice 1903 to hang it on and no one will notice

    For the price you paid,.....you are still ok - IMO.

    I've managed to collect a few over the years,
    U.S. Model 1095 Bayonets - group shot.

    Looks like a couple of kids got together for a sword fight.
    Not an uncommon thing to do. Worse results with a
    leather scabbard as the 'defensive weapon'

    Still nice for the price.........
