US knives: What do I have?

Steve, quick question if you dont mind.... did they switch the blade types after 67' ?...... or was there a variation w/ blood grooves and one w/out for these knives? My 68' doesnt have "the groove"! Just curious, Thanks!
(or has mine just been sharpened to nothing!?) haha

Hi Bill. From your photo, There looks like what used to be a groove in the blade
- perhaps it has been almost totally ground off. I've never seen one without
a 'blood groove'. Nice well-used Vietnam era knife.

I have 3 or 4 Jet Pilot knives from the 1980's and one which is an early
commercial model with a non-Parkerized blade. The maker -Camillus-
is stamped on the ricasso. Took them on camping trips until
I realized these are now worth more than the $35 I paid
for each one.........!

Haha! Thats awesome. This one was actually used as a fishing knife before it was given to me.
