    Looks like .303

    Possible Headstamp. DA = Dominion Arsenal, Québec, Canada

    What country did you find them?
    I asked, to see if there were any Canadian troops around the area.

    AS Phil said they are .303 British or 7.7x56 in metric size by Dominion Arsenal......Pete.

    I found them in Canada at an old dominion arsenal manufacturing and testing range. Its a dominion head stamp just not to familiar with the round i think your right its a brit .303
