Found USN Dogtag

I had found this USN dogtag at a flea market some time ago. I'm wondering if it's from WW2 and if so if anybody can find any info on him. My goal is to hopefully return it to its' true owner.

Years of playing with this stuff,exposure to it daily at the army/navy store in Allentown when I helped there. You should be able to find the dog tag info on line. Did you get it at Jake's? Renningers? Rich A. in Pa.

Ah, but yes I got it at Jake's. I try to go there every Sunday.

It depends when you get there. I get there early and leave about 9:00 or so. Leesport also has a 1st. and 3rd. sunday flea market in addition to the regular wednesday market. Besides all the markets out in Adamstown every sunday. Rich A. in Pa.
