Help researching an officer
Obtained a collection of letters from an officer, Rex R. Hamilton, of the 404th Bomb Squadron (H) to his girlfriend Mary Anne Pankey. Hamilton was stationed in the Aleutians. I've checked Fold3 and haven't found anything there. I assume Hamilton is also from Texas. Checked Newspapers.com as well, nothing except *maybe* the same Hamilton a few decades after the war because the article deals with aviation. No obituaries, either. Any ideas?

What rank is indicated for Rex or how have you determined he was an officer? Also, what is Mary Anne's mailing address?
