    Hi everyone,

I'm trying to find some information on an American soldier called John Joseph Nally who was in the USAAF during WW2. Below are some details but he was based in the UK (Norfolk) towards the end of WW2 as an airgunner. I know he flew with B-29 Command Decision during Korea but can find very little about his time during WW2.

BTN: 389th Bomb Group based at Hethel.
    DOB: 5th August 1921
    Place of Birth: Spokane, Washington
    DOD: 27th March 1978
    Place of Burial: Portland, Oregon

Is anyone able to direct me into resource points for that type of information?
    Thank you in advance.

Here are a few more pieces of information.

I am getting ready to head out for some business but maybe when I have some time this weekend, I will have a look at more information.

Since the Army Air Corps changed to US Air Force in 1947 you may have to look through Air Force records to get info about his WW2 service..
