Article about: I have recently discovered that a relative of mine was in the navy in WWII, in the pacific. I have researched into my relatives that were in the army (I had their uniforms) but I cannot find

    Unrelated but the camo on the LST is pretty amazing.

    You have enough information so that you can request his records from the National Archives (NARA).

    Here is a link to a tutorial on how to submit requests.. As a relative you may be able to obtain replacement medals...

    have you tried to get his records they should be available he was navy if he was army might be a issue. i have used this site to great satisfaction.
